Q: How may I send a message to another YFull member?

A: YFull has a PM (personal message) system for communications between its customers who have YFxxxxx IDs.

The PM system is available from the SNP matches and STR matches tabs in the main menu on the left side of your account home page, and also by using the envelope icon on the home page. It may be easier to send an initial message from the SNP matches or STR matches tabs.

In the PM Compose Message window, the Recipient is identified by the five numbers of the person's ID. For persons with IDs under 10000, the Recipient is 0xxxx.

In order to check for the receipt of a PM message from a person you have contacted, use the envelope icon on the home page. Selecting the icon will open a PM window which shows an Inbox, Trash and Trash, and a New Message tab.
